Annular eclipses occur when the apparent size of the Moon as seen from Earth is smaller than that of the Sun.\u00a0The Sun appears as a very bright ring surrounding the dark disk of the Moon.Both the annular eclipse of 2023 and the annular eclipse of 2012 were visible from the Four Corners region of the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
