Supplement Facts Generator (Calculator)

Confused with Supplement Facts layouts and FDA regulations?

You can use my  Supplement Facts generator (opens in new window) to create your Supplement Facts layout.  Basic use is free, or to use more advanced features you will need to create a subscription account (I accept Paypal and all major credit cards).

With a subscription you can save your Supplement Facts, export to csv,  print pdf format, convert from old to new Daily Values, choose from various fonts and sizes, and use search features to help reduce data entry. Subscription prices start at $19.99 for a one-week use.

The rendered Supplement Facts panel includes, when required:

  • Serving Size and Servings per Container
  • Calculated % DVs (new or old)
  • Units of Measure
  • Macro ingredient components: Calories, Fat, Cholesterol, Carbs, Fiber, Protein, Sugars / Added Sugars
  • RDI components: Vitamins and Minerals
  • Dietary Ingredients without DVs or RDIs
  • Proprietary Blend (multiple blends  per label supported) with multiple dietary ingredients (displayed in list or wrap style)
  • Single or multiple groups e.g. calculates DVs/RDIs for adults, infants, pregnant/lactating women
  • Allergens, Ingredients, and Other Ingredients supported
  • Formatting and layout is according to 21 CFR 101.9 and 101.36

Paid accounts may also:

  • Save to database or export to CSV backup file
  • Choose fonts including Arial, Arial Narrow, Times New Roman, Verdana, Georgia, and custom fonts
  • Adjust size of fonts and panel
  • Print and download, including JPG and PNG formats
  • Convert from old to new DVs (where feasible) and vice versa
  • Search botanical and substances added to foods databases to find ingredients (speeds data entry)
  • Create Nutrition Facts panels (21 CFR 101.9)
